Bulldog Nation!!! Yet another great turnout as we had about 85 folks come out and spend some time with their BULLDOG family.
Thank you for those that volunteered their time and resources to put the reunion together. A special thank you to our SERVICE SPONSORS (Burke Sporting Goods and Advanced Baseball). Also, Peterson’s Ice Cream Depot for donating the ice cream.
It is hard to believe that it has been ten (10) years since a handful of Fairfax National LL dads met at the Robinson varsity softball field and decided to start this program. The 10-year patches will be a nice addition to the left sleeve of all our uniforms beginning this fall.
I feel we have accomplished our Goal, Mission, and Philosophy over those years mainly because of the dedication of the coaches, Board members, parents, and most importantly – the players. The Bulldog ALUMNI (class of 2015-2021) represent the Bulldog program very well in every facet of life.
Some of you have been with the Bulldog program since your son was 9 and some of you have just joined the family.
While we strive to instill a love for the game, provide expert instruction and reps to improve play; as one looks back, it is the friendships (players, parents, and siblings) forged along the way that often mean the most.

Go Bulldogs !!!
The GOAL of the Burke Bulldogs Travel Baseball program is to provide for the development of young players through instruction and competition.
Our MISSION is to field teams that have well-rounded, skilled baseball players looking for a competitive, positive baseball experience.
Our PHILOSOPHY is that by being a part of Burke Bulldogs Travel Baseball, our players will become future leaders in their schools as well as volunteers and leaders in the community. We do not want our program to take away from any other baseball programs; but, compliment them through increased player development.
In the Fall of 2019, the Bulldogs program will have the following teams: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, and 15U. The Little League age cut of is August 31 of the current year; however, NVTBL and USSSA are still using May 1 as their cut off. We also take into account the "grade" of the player (high school graduation class). All teams "move up" an age group in the fall.
